Joules – New Heritage collection

Born in the fields of Great Britain, Tom Joule began selling clothes at outdoor events throughout the country over 25 years ago, finding a niche in the market when he realised that his customers were a bright and colourful bunch, but their clothes were quite the contrary. Known for their exclusive floral prints and classic striped Harbour tops, Autumn/Winter ’17 sees Joules go back to basics with a range of more muted wardrobe staples in luxury fabrics such as Tweed and Corduroy. Warm caramel and oxblood tones are applied to soft corduroy fabric to create the Monroe Skinny Stretch Cords and, spun from super soft, rose red wool, the Quinby Chunky Cable Knit jumper has an oversized fit and is an ode to simple yet sartorial winter must-haves. From the Outerwear edit, The Cheltenham Herringbone Coat (£249), inspired by Scottish Tweed, is a new take on a true classic and The Glamis Wax Cape (£249) in a rich Olive tone of Scottish wax is set to be a hero for the season. With a corduroy collar, brass buttons and hand-drawn printed lining, this wax piece will get better with age.
