Embark on a Poldark tour to celebrate the show’s return

In celebration of Aidan Turner returning to our screens as Captain Ross Poldark in the popular television series, take to the road to tour the filming spots used to create the stunning backdrop for the show. Head to the South West with Rabbie’s  and recreate your favourite scenes starring the scythe-wielding heartthrob.

The five-day tour of Devon and Cornwall takes in many of the locations where the cast and crew of the swoon-worthy drama have been spotted, including Bodmin Moor, where St Breward doubles as Poldark’s home, Nampara. The rugged landscape set the scene for a classic duel and many of the cast have been spotted filming on horseback through the wild setting.

Guests can also explore Poldark country with visits to Tintagel Castle on the dramatic north coast of Cornwall and the most westerly tip of England, Lands End. Fans of the show can enjoy recreating the famous swimming scene at the picturesque Porthgwarra, a stunning little cove that sits within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

The Rabbie’s five-day Devon and Cornwall tour departs from London and costs from £254 per person. For more information and to book, visit www.rabbies.com.

Currently offering ten different tours from London, from one-day up to eight-days in duration and visiting a mix of sought-after English and Welsh locations Rabbie’s  also offer an eight-day tour from London to Edinburgh.

With a friendly team of over 170, Rabbie’s ethical small group tours take guest off the beaten track and onto the back roads where other tours can’t go. Touring with friendly and experienced driver-guides, and no more than 16 passengers means passengers get more personal attention, a chance to meet the locals, extended time off the bus, more adventures down the back-roads, and more freedom to make their trip their own.
